Time to apply the 18th edition of Uppsala International Young Talents Guitar Competition.
The finals will take place at the festival 10th October .

From October 8-10, we will be celebrating 23st edition of Uppsala International
Guitar Festival and the 18th edition of the Uppsala International Young Talent Competition.
Last year's first prize went to Hayoung Lee from South Corea.

PRIZES WORTH MORE THAN 7000 EUROS + RECITALS
First Prize: 30,000 SEK, ca 3000 euros.
+ one concert guitar by Siccas Luthiers – Synthesis Doubletop Cedar 65 cm | Value: €3,490
+ Participation and performances in next year's festival as well as a mini tour in the region Uppsala

Second Prize: 10,000 SEK.

Other prizes for to the finialists coming to Uppsala
free participation at the festival programme 8-10 October (recitals and workshops/masterclasses)

The participation fee for the competition is €95.
The fee also includes access to all festival activities and recitals  8–10 October.

COMPETITION GUIDELINES
. Age limit: 30 years old.
WHO: Professionals and guitar prodigies
MUSIC: All styles are permitted (not only classical)
PROGRAMME: You are free to choose your own play program
 Both solo players and ensembles/chamber are welcome
(meaning other instruments too)

ROUNDS 
Round 1 
Send us a video recording uploaded in youtube-link of a maximun of 10 minutes program of your choice.
A short written presentation of you, your age, country, etc.
A jury will choose a maximun of 8 finalists to the second round.
The result of who will be part of the final round will be sent to you around August 30th.

Round 2 
The second and final round of the Competition takes place on the 10h October
at the 23th Uppsala International Guitar Festival.
An international Jury will be in charge of the Competition. TBA later.
